I’d encourage you to read my reviews and their response to my detailed review. I think you’ll find I’m beyond fair. It will be generic nonsense about how they are sorry and will retrain people. You should avoid this place at all costs as there is zero leadership. There was one positive. The valet was amazing and fast. Beyond that, you’d be better off anywhere else but here. I spend over 50 nights a year in a hotel and can assure you this is my last night ever here. Let’s start….the person at the front desk didn’t realize there was a computer for the Hampton and one for Homewood so had to get help for that. Once he figured out he was on the correct computer he told me I didn’t have a reservation. I told him 3 times it was because I did online checkin and he had to look in a different place. Gave him the reservation number and still no luck. I almost had to show him on the computer and he finally found it. I told him I wouldn’t have stopped at the front desk but the digital key hadn’t been sent. He said he would resend. Never happened and despite multiple requests I finally gave up. Zero recognition of Diamond status and had to tell him Diamond members get water at a minimum since they weren’t in the room. He finally gave me the water. All this took place while the coworker watched him struggle. Got the room and shocker, the safe doesn’t work and you could tell it’s in a state of disrepair. Went to the gym since they advertise as having a peloton bike. That must be an invisible bike since it’s nowhere to be seen. Worked out on the treadmill and went to wipe down the machine. Yep you guessed it, wipes were empty. Another item in the room is the sofa bed had been damaged and took 2 people to finally get it closed. Ice maker in fridge also doesn’t work. Again, watch how they post a nonsensical response about how they take this serious and hope I give them another chance. You know a hotel a serious when they don’t post a canned response and this place won’t.

We are very disappointed with what we endured during check-in on 30 MAR 2024. A reservation for a NONREFUNDABLE, one bedroom king suite was made on 11 FEB 24, and the PAYMENT POSTED to my credit card on the 13th...weeks before we could even buy tickets for the game on MLB.. We've stayed here many times specially going to Houston for baseball games. This day, we arrived at the hotel at 2:15 pm. The gentleman at the counter was very polite and said that "our type of room wasn't ready yet; check-in is at three". No problem... we totally understood that. We had a four hour drive; arriving early and having to wait is on us. We made ourselves comfortable in the lobby. Things went drastically downhill for the next almost three hours. I got back in line about every 30 minutes while watching the lines steadily grow. Second trip to the desk... he's still pleasant; room is not ready. Third trip up a young lady (pregnant...sorry I didn't get any names) is ready to assist. She said "there aren't any king suites available; I'm going to switch you to two queen beds." I said no... I reserved a one bedroom king... I'll wait. On my way back to my chair I told the guy whom originally helped me what she said and he reassured me that I'd get the king. Fourth trip to the counter. It's easy to see that he's getting as annoyed with me as I am with this situation... and quickly says I'm doing reconciliations (or whatever word he used)... I'm trying to find rooms). I go sit back down with my husband, 11yo granddaughter, and her friend... and our poodle. Fifth trip to the counter and I'm in no mood for the nonsense I'm about to endure. The guy says "I'm sorry ma'am I'm going to have to give you a two queen suite; there aren't any king suites available. The young lady decides to interject "it's beyond our control" in my conversation instead of continuing on with the customer in her line. My husband and I were not happy about two queen beds. First of all he's 6'2" and secondly, we didn't want to sleep next to two giggling 11 year olds, hence the reason I took the necessary steps that I did. We wanted what we had reserved and PRE-PAID for. I then asked what's the difference in price between the two room types to which she said there isn't any. Oh my God... I replied there had better be and I want to speak with the manager. I'm not sure but I think the next lady that came to assist was an assistant manager because the manager wasn't available at that moment. She was helpful and mysteriously found a one bedroom king suite. We just needed to wait for it to be cleaned. While we waited the manager; a very nice gentleman approached us. I explained everything that had transpired. I declined his offer to give me "some points". Points were NOT going to fix the fact that we arrived in ample time to get checked-in, changed, and go to the ballpark so the girls could get autographs. That was taken from us...COMPLETELY RUINED and points was NOT going to fix it. For that representative to tell me it was beyond their control is absolute garbage; it was 100% your fault! I did what I was supposed to do to ensure we had an adequate and safe place to stay AND IT WAS PAID FOR WEEKS IN ADVANCE. I didn't ruin our stay...YOU DID!

Great location to Minute Maid Park and the convention center. On each floor, half of the rooms are Hampton and the other half are Homewood. Suites are large and views from upper floors are amazing! Valet parking was great and priced comparably at $55. Front desk staff was very helpful. Breakfast was very good and very quiet at 6 am. Overall, a great option if your family doesn’t fit in a standard guest room.

Disappointing for a Hilton

Disappointing for a Hilton, just ok. For a six night stay, I was dismayed, that upon our arrival, on top of your nightly charge, which I had payed in advance, they had us put $75 PER NIGHT on hold, as a deposit for any potential damages. We are a couple in our 60’s with no pets. It’s kind of outrageous. The agent who checked us in was not very friendly, rattling off information so fast, we kept having to ask her to repeat herself. The TV which is mounted on the wall is loose, so we had to jerry-rig it by putting something under it to hold it up. The cabinet under the sink is dirty. I wiped up some food spills, because I did not want to look at someone else’s spilled food. The only bowls are so small, almost no food fits in them. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is clean, and the coffee in the lobby is good. I’m giving it two stars because I expect more from a Hilton property.

The location is great, the valet parking crew is exceptional, the breakfast is TERRIBLE... stayed there a week and everyday was the same nasty sausage links, dried eggs and sometype of patoto. My 8 years old grandson when up to the worker in breakfatbar and asked if they woere ever going to have bacon, she told him tomarrow. He got up early we went down to total disaptionment. SAME OLD NASTY THING THEY BEEN OFFERING.
